"I am a pregnant teenager - What can I do?"
We cannot solve our problems using the same old information and thought process that created the problem in the first place...all that does is repeat failure.
You have a problem that can be addressed correctly or destructively.
After the shock of your pregnancy, realize that your emotions may betray you, and that your mind may consider that "aborting the baby" will eliminate your problem.
The truth is that many other problems will emerge...
A planned miscarriage by means of destroying of the fertilized egg, or by any forced ejection of the baby is an abortion.
The doctor was shocked as he was about to abort this baby.
The baby reached out and grabbed his finger. The doctor did not perform the abortion...
There are three points of view
Let's hear what GOD has to say...
Jeremiah 1.4-5 "Then the word of the Lord came to me [Jeremiah], saying,
5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
Psalms 139.13-16 "13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. 15 You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! 16 You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!"
Sounds like GOD is definitely involved in everything that happens to us!
Look at this sign:
"My Body My Choice"
Will abortion solve my problem?
How can it when there is the ever pounding guilt that will never let you go.
Why? Because murdering the unborn is a sin against nature, GOD, and you. No matter what advocates try and tell you - abortion is not the answer to an unwanted pregnancy.
Abortion creates depression and mental stress that may affect you for the rest of your life, and the "sign holders" won't be there to help.
Keep the baby!
Take responsibility for the pregnancy and find out that life can turn out just fine!
Sure, it's tougher. Financially scary, but you have the child to bring joy to you - to teach you how you can make it.
This is usually the best choice of all!
Why would you consider adoption?
You may be single, or mentally or financially unable to provide for a child. Many families are waiting for the opportunity to adopt a baby!
GOD loves us. However, certain consequences kick into play when certain actions take place. It does not matter who does the action. It is not personal. GOD's system does automatically take action.
However, the right response to your pregnancy makes the difference...
I do not know the answer to this question.
Yes. Forgiveness is available through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ask Him today.
Psalms 51"O loving and kind God, have mercy. Have pity upon me and take away the awful stain of my transgressions. 2 Oh, wash me, cleanse me from this guilt. Let me be pure again. 3 For I admit my shameful deed—it haunts me day and night. 4 It is against you and you alone I sinned and did this terrible thing. You saw it all, and your sentence against me is just. 5 But I was born a sinner, yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. 6 You deserve honesty from the heart; yes, utter sincerity and truthfulness. Oh, give me this wisdom.
7 Sprinkle me with the cleansing blood and I shall be clean again. Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 And after you have punished me, give me back my joy again. 9 Don’t keep looking at my sins—erase them from your sight. 10 Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires. 11 Don’t toss me aside, banished forever from your presence. Don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. 13 Then I will teach your ways to other sinners, and they—guilty like me—will repent and return to you. 14-15 Don’t sentence me to death. O my God, you alone can rescue me. Then I will sing of your forgiveness, for my lips will be unsealed—oh, how I will praise you."
The author of this prayer was David. He had committed a murder and adultery. He was forgiven and his joy was completely restored.
The same can happen to you...
Actually, this is a pretty good prayer for each of us to really go through and make it the expression of our hearts...
