The purpose of GOD pouring out His Spirit is wonderful. It is to make known His words to us.

Today's Daily Verse is found in Proverbs 1.23

"Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you; I will make known my words unto you..."

An important ingredient to this verse is to get a grasp of the word "reproof." It means that GOD is actively working with that individual in order for the "reproof" to be present...

Reproof means - It means to verbally correct someone who is doing something wrong thereby bringing the wrongdoing to light, rebuking the person for wrong doing, and encouraging them to turn from their wrongdoing and do what is right.

= to rebuke, to reprimand, to admonish after disapproval of an act

It is our responsibility to respond - to agree with GOD's assessment, and to turn or change our thinking...

Because of bitterness and anger I was greatly reproved of the Lord, and then had stomach cancer - read what happened at The-Spirit-of-the-Lord...

Remember that those whom the Lord loves, He chastens, and disciplines. The results are absolutely worth it!

Only the Holy Spirit of GOD can reveal "truth" to our minds and impact our lives.

Without the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to understand, discern, and receive the instruction that comes from GOD.

1 Corinthians 2.9-14

" That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.”

10 But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. 11 No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. 12 And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.

13 When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. 14 But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means."

Amazing.

See you tomorrow...
